“Balakalakaar – An artist in every child” is documented as an initiative for the underprivileged kids co-organised by Elixir Foundation and AIESEC Ahmedabad. In the course of this Program, virtually 800+ kids were benefited with educational kits moreover 40 kids with a scholarship of INR 10000 each. The day didn’t even ask for any supplementary efforts from the kids and they spent it by and large through learning, playing and enjoying. Huge amount of scholarships were distributed for the betterment in their education. Elixir Foundation is heartily thankful to Prof. Vasuben Trivedi, Former Minister of State, Higher and Technical Education, Women & Child Welfare along with Shri Nanubhai Vanani, Former Minister of State, Primary Education, Youth Affairs for the courteous presence of their encouraging front at the event.
Roshan Up Lives
An initiative commenced by Elixir Foundation in the year 2015 to aid mainly the underprivileged bunch of people. The sorting here has been made in an exceptional manner one that stays unobserved by the customary populace. Here people living by road side during the thorny time of winters are taken for thought. During eve of Diwali, nearly 200 Blankets were collected from the community and donated to the needy ones. Under this Program by Elixir Foundation, slum areas of Vastrapur and SG Highway in Ahmedabad are managed exclusively.
UNESCO’s WHV 2017 Lets Heritage Program
Elixir Foundation made its place among the 46 global organisations to be selected by UNESCO for World Heritage Volunteers Program. The Program was scheduled from June 20 – July 01, 2017 at Rani-Ki-Vav, Patan in Gujarat, India; with the incorporation of 41 Participants from 6 countries and 11 states of India. The objective of the Program was to promote heritage and culture in the community through active participation of youths.
World Environment Day Celebration
Owing to Environment Crisis, Elixir Foundation aspires to uphold Environment Conservation in the society through Visual Aids. This ensued to be the most dynamic thought after an unrestricted interaction regarding the awareness of the Program should be made. Accordingly a platform is readied and on World Environment Day, the foundation comes up with a Video with the same objective. Thus an interaction comes about with individuals of various age groups and discussions on enriching the environment & the probable solutions in the direction of it are instigated. ‘Let’s be responsible for the change that we wish to see.’
Statue Cleaning of National Icons
When the conservation of values and cultures are reflected upon, the primary illustration arrives in people’s head are of the ones who have added up to the rich history of our nation. This initiative is contemplated as a tribute given by Elixir Foundation to the national leaders and respected personalities of India. Under the Initiative, we celebrate this activity on every Independence Day and Republic Day in the entire Gujarat State to honour them for their sacrifices towards the nation. Walk For Freedom
On the national celebration of Independence Day, Elixir Foundation rejoices through organising a Walk for Freedom. During this event an objective to engage the youths of the community is made and their collective march lends a hand in honouring the sacrifices done by our national heroes. National heroes always are a subject of pride to our country’s pride; thus a tribute to them any day is a matter of a great honour to each and every citizen. With the aid of this walk, displays of slogans of freedom of what young India desires are featured. It is concurrently organised in various cities with active participation of nearly 5000 Youths nationwide.
Women Transforming India
Madhish Parikh – Founder & President of Elixir Foundation taking the responsibility from his end, submitted information of Muskan Ahirwar to NITI Aayog, Government of India. Muskan – A 9 years aged young woman moreover the youngest librarian of her rank. She administers a library with a thought of teaching the slum kids of her area in Madhya Pradesh. For her good works, Muskan was shortlisted as a winner in the top 12 Women who are #TransformingIndia by NITI Aayog, Government of India and myGov. She also ended up being a runner up under the recognition by United Nations in India She was honoured an award by – Ms Sakshi Malik, Olympic Medal Winner, for her Transforming Acts & Empowering the community. With a little effort following the submission done by Madhish Parikh, Muskan becomes the youngest winner at the ceremony. The Award ceremony was held on September 09, 2016 at Teen Murti Auditorium, New Delhi.
International Heritage Camp
International Heritage Camp is a value addition initiative in succession to UNESCO’s WHV Let’s Heritage Campaign 2017 by Elixir Foundation and infoAnalytica. The Camp was executed at Rani-Ki-Vav (The Queen’s Step Well), Patan from 24 – 28 January, 2018 with active participation of 40 youths from 4 countries and 8 states of the country of diverse backgrounds. The camp aimed to promote heritage preservation among youth and local communities, documenting and spreading examples of active participation, stimulating a sense of responsibility and connecting international and local people with the site management and conservation authorities.
